Photography workshop
For the first time since 2016 we are running a workshop, which will centre around sharing how I set a shoot up, light it and shoot it. We will be shooting a female model in a number of outfits, and the venue is a retro yard that has several vintage cars and motorcycles we can utilise as well as some interesting sets for backgrounds. The emphasis will be on creating images, and will include camera craft, lighting and posing.
When
Sunday 25th March 10am - 4pm.
Where
Northwest England, Preston area, full details provided at time of booking.
Numbers
Maximum of 10 shooters
We will be shooting with a female model, and taking full advantage of vintage vehicles that are on site, and some of the period sets and backgrounds.
This event will be a full on day, with plenty of learning, plenty of shooting and plenty of fun.
We will be shooting with the Rotolight continuous LED lighting system, so there will be no waiting around for flash triggers while others shoot, and you will be able to shoot many images, which is the best way to learn.
This is a learning / portfolio building day, and you will receive tuition as required as you shoot. No previous knowledge of working with a model and lighting will be assumed, all you need is a camera capable of shooting in manual mode, and lots of enthusiasm to learn and take pictures.
Following an introduction to the day, and explanation of the Rotolight lighting system we will be using, each lighting setup and camera craft will be explained throughout the day.
There is no catering facilities so please bring a packed lunch.
