I entered this years Great Barr National Panel Photography Exhibition for the first time.
A panel exhibition is a bit different from the usual exhibition work I do, in that each submission is not a single image, but a selection of three images that need to work as a set, as well as stand on their own as single entity.
My submission consisted of a selection of images that I had taken recently, and married them together in terms of content, colour balance and composition.
Other awards included a Silver Medal in the Colour Category with a panel titled "Underground", Silver Medal in the monochrome category with a panel titled "Under my Umbrella", panels "Eye on the Ball" receiving a Judges Award and "At the Races" receiving a Commended award.
Great Barr Panels Exhibition has BPE (British Photographic Exhibitions) patronage.
