The sRGB National Photography Exhibition runs each year and is a Print Only exhibition, part of The BPE circuit and benefits from PAGB Patronage.
The categories of this exhibition are quite unique, with them being, Believable Reality, Creature of the world, Environment, Humanity and Out of the box.
The organisers reported that they had received a large application for entry of work to the exhibition, of over 1,200 pieces of work. Thats a lot of prints to work through!
The prints were presented to 3 selectors and scored, the top scorers were accepted into the exhibition, and the very top scorers assessed for awards.
I had 8 pieces of work accepted into the exhibition, two of which received awards. One award was a certificate for "Cloud Maker" which is a long exposure of a power station located on the banks of The River Mersey. The other was a selectors award for "Gold Carolina" which is a portrait work of Carolina Borg. Carolina's make up and design was done by the talented MUA Jenna Hacking.
The Exhibition opens at Dobbies in Southport on 6th September, and runs until the 20th September.
