This is my first blog post on the new website, so what better way than to catch up on exhibition results. Below is the results from my last 4 months exhibition work which show the acceptances, awards and entries in each class (where figures are known)
During my guest speaking evenings, I always try to impress upon people how important exhibition work is to me, in terms of development, and getting hard opinions on your work. Its not for everybody I know, and there are many social media platforms for getting the oohs and the aahs from people, but if you want experienced National and International judges to view your images, and further score and ultimately accept your work into exhibitions, then this really is the only way to do it. To win awards once accepted is another level again. And to pick up any award is a real achievement.
In Nationel Exhibitions there has been 52 acceptances and 20 awards, a 38% award to acceptance ratio.
In International Exhibitions there has been 31 acceptances and 5 awards, a 16% award to acceptance ration.
